Chesnut Hill Old World Modern

The Boston transplants from LA wanted to bring a bit of modernity and a strong sense of color and warmth to this grand antique Mediterranean Revival home built in the early 1900’s. With a backdrop of original millwork that exudes the grandness of a bygone era, we set out to bring a fresh perspective with subtle and bold colors, textures, and whimsical silhouettes that help to highlight the architecture. The clients love of boutique hotels, and world travel inspired many of the fixtures and finishes used throughout the home.
