Winthrop Road Transitional

After living in their historic 1890 Lexington home for a number of years this couple came to us needing a fresh and updated design on the main level of their home for their family of four. Cosmetically, we provided a minor kitchen update with new lighting, backsplash, fittings hardware. In other areas, we designed and installed new millwork and provided new furnishings throughout the 1st floor spaces. Inspiration for the furnishings and color palette were derived from the Arts & Crafts era of the house as well as the original stained-glass window in the foyer. A palette of jewel tones combined with more neutral olive-grays and camels set the tone for the color scheme throughout.
